History and Celebration of Indian Independence
India celebrates 15th August as the independence day as a national holiday in India commemorating the nation's independence from the UK as the UK parliament passed the Indian independence act 1947 on 15th august 1947 by Uk governments. Which then transferred to the Indian Constituent Assembly and came into effect after.
It was the time of the 1600s when the first time the East India Company Came to India to start their business. Their Military was also very strong at that time, with business they started to control our administrative and exercise military. Then by 1757, they are slowly stared to control and foothold the whole part of the country. They started to rule us by adding unfair rules and stated to control the public with their rule.
Then the first revolt was started against British rule by our one group of Indian soldiers by 1857. The country started to revolt and struggle against Indian independence against British and British rule at Meerut.
In the next year in 1858, the British crown in London took over the direct control of India. After this year from 1858-1947 British ruled us by the form of the governor-general in every state of India.
Now the British were over the total controlled of India, by their rule in every part of India. The situation getting worse by the day to day for the unfair and discrimination low by the British.
It was the year of 1919 and April 13th, the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre took place at Amritsar, Punjab. Many people from over the outside like from another state gathered to protest British rule and their unfair habits to the public with the arrest of two big national leaders Satya Pal and Dr. Saifuddin Kitchlew with Baisakhi Pilgrims. The British were created a law called material law was unaware to the public who came from all over the Country. It takes many people's lives about more than 1000 people When the people gathered, British General Reginald Dyer ordered the troops to fire the machine gun to the gathered area and it led to took 1000 people's lives.
This situation led to Mahatma Gandhi starting a protest against the situation and it continued including Bengal Feminine in 1943 where about 5 million live gone.

There are many incidents that led to takes many people's lives and it shows the strengths of the Indian public with some great leaders like Mahatma Gandi, Lalbahadur Sastri, Bhagat Sing, Subhas Chandra Bose, Lal Lajpat Ray, Chandra Sekhar Azad, Sarojini Naidu, and more great freedom fighter.
They were the real hero of us who fight for India's independence and make us freedom.
After all the struggles and fights and also many lives, in February 1947, that time prime minister of British Clement Attlee announced that they will self-governance British India in June 1948. But the new viceroy, Lord Mountbatten advanced the date and announced to pass the Self-governance to British on the date of Japan's second anniversary in world war II, on 15th August.
